Log afsane hojate hain

Ankhen borhi hojati hainKhawab purane hojate hain

Yaad kya tujh ko dilaein tera peman janaan

Younhi mosam ki ada dekh ke yaad aya hai

Kis kadar jald badal jaate hein insaan janaan

Hum ne jaise bhi basar ki tera ehsaan janaan

Dil yeh kehta hai ke shaid ho afsurda tu bhi

Dil ki kya baat karein dil to hai nadaan janaa
